Neecha Kuja or Debilitated Mars

Mars is said to be in debilitation when it is Kataka(Cancer) , there are several misconceptions surrounding debilitated mars which  i will clarify today.

Common misconceptions associated with Neecha Kuja/Debilitated Mars:
1)Person will be a coward and devoid of courage/leadership qualities
2)Person will be a cheater and use unethical methods to meet his needs.

Observations:
1)in the above chart Mars is in 3rd house which is signifactor of courage, efforts ,hobbies, and debilitated
2)it is in a cadet house making it devoid of any strength.

This person will be exact opposite of strong/exalted mars, so first lets understand
Characteristics of Exalted/Strong Mars:
1)The person will be brave as a general, try to accomplish his task with  much aggression in a brute force manner and will never back down.
2)The person will be very active.

Debilitated mars:
1)The person always looks for an easy way around instead of facing the problem directly in a aggressive manner.(This makes people with debilitated mars successful in material world where nothing works straight forward way)
2)The person will be lazy may be he/she will prefer to fish instead of going for a run on a sunny day.
3)Only If there is an association with Rahu/Ketu then the person with debilitated mars will use uncanny means/be a liar and cheater

consider the below chart wherein a person is born with jupiter,mercury and sun conjunct in the second house Mithuna(Gemini)

 Observations:
1)Mercury is at lower angles and occupies its own house Mithuna(Gemini).
2)Sun is a guest in Mercury's own house and is sitting with it.
3)The conjunction is formed in 2nd house of speech and hoardings.

Normal predictions for Budhadithya Yoga:
1)the person born in this yoga will be highly intelligent, radiate confidence and have a good speech.
2)The above predictions become void if the mercury is too close to Sun ie less than 10 degrees.

Combining predictions with Observations:
1)Since the yoga is formed in the 2nd house of speech and hoarded wealth, the person will be blessed with intelligence on topics of 2nd house, he/she may be a skilled stock trader, an expert on antiques or any kind of hoards.
2)Here Mercury is more stronger(its in Gemini) and is the driver of yoga being in lower angles, giving the person strong speech. We come across people who just go onto the stage throw away the mike set and start talking and entire crowd just listens to them. This is the kind of yoga these people will have.
Cons:
1)Since the Sun in relatively weaker here, the person may come across as over confident.
2)The person may have fright of public speaking.

My Gurus and Learning Astrology

As a normal part of growing up in an Indian Hindu family i was exposed to vedic astrology quite frequently. Be it determining an auspicious date for a marriage, child's naming ceremony or a good day to buy a vehicle we always consulted the pandits(person with good knowledge of astrology and vedic scriptures). 

It always used to mesmerize me as to how the pandits could accurately predict events of future by applying principles of vedic astrology, I always wanted to learn it.However it was not so easy as Vedic Astrology is a science shunned by society , i made numerous attempts to learn it, every time i was reprimanded by elders.Astrology remained just in my heart.

I grew up to be a Software Engineer and had almost stopped pursuing astrology, one day as i was browsing the internet i chanced upon you tube videos of Kapiel Raj on astrology, it ignited my passion for astrology once again and there has been no stopping to this day.
